---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of the tow-boat Senigallia began 9 January 1940 at the Cantieri Navali Breda of Ancona. Its length is 35.08 metres, it was motorised with a forceful engine 550 CV which gave it the possibility to fulfil the duty of Coastal Tow-Boat for which it had been build in the best way. After few years of service it was requistioned by the Germans in the La Spezia harbour, the 9 September 1943. They armed it with 6 machine gun emplacements, a twin anticraft equipment and 76/40 Amstrong gun. After that it was used as coat or harbour patrol boat and it stayed in force at the Kriegsmarine with a German crew until when, the 4 September 1944 it was sunk during the allied hard bombings in an area opposite the harbour of Genoa.
